GPU Particles
self:emit
ClientStarts emitting particles
Syntax
local status = self:emit()Fires particle:emit when emission actually starts.
- Calling it on an emitter that is already emitting does nothing and fires no signal.
- Emitters start emitting as soon as they are created, so this is only needed after
self:stopor once a one-shot cycle has finished. - To clear the live particles and begin a fresh cycle, use
self:restartinstead.
