self:get_type

Retrieves the type name of the particle emitter instance

local result = self:get_type()

No parameters are accepted by this function

Type	Name	Description
`string` \| `bool`	result	Type name of the instance, `false` if unavailable

Get the type of a particle emitter instance

local entity = particle.gpu.create()

core.engine.print("info", entity:get_type()) -- "particle.gpu"

self:is_streamed

Checks whether the instance is currently within the streaming range of the active camera

self:destroy

Destroys the particle emitter instance and frees its resources
